Before you start
Have your Love Mobile activation email open on a second screen, like a computer or tablet, so you can scan the QR code with your phone.
Make sure your phone is unlocked and connected to Wi-Fi.
Keep your phone plugged in or well charged.
Google Pixel
Open Settings, then Network and internet.
Tap the + next to SIMs, or tap SIMs, then Add SIM.
Choose Download a SIM instead? then tap Next.
Scan the QR code from your Love Mobile activation email.
Tap Download, then Done when it finishes.
Samsung Galaxy
Open Settings, then Connections, then SIM manager.
Tap Add eSIM.
Tap Scan QR code and scan the code from your activation email.
Follow the prompts to download and confirm your new plan.
Other Android phones
Look for Settings, then Network, then SIM. Wording varies by brand. Choose the option to add an eSIM or download a SIM, then scan your QR code.
After installation
Restart your phone. This helps the network register your line.
Confirm your Love Mobile line shows as active in your SIM settings.
If you are keeping another line on the same phone, set which line handles calls, texts, and data in your SIM settings.
Trouble scanning?
If the QR code will not scan or you see an error during download, do not retry repeatedly. A QR code can typically only be used once. A fresh code has to be issued by a member of our team: email [email protected], call 1-888-271-5683, or ask for the team in chat. A teammate will confirm when your new code has been sent. Our chat assistant can guide you through installation, but it cannot generate eSIM codes itself. See Where's my eSIM QR code? for details.
