Which Phones Work With Add A Love Line

Your phone works with Add A Love Line if it supports eSIM and can run two lines at once. Compatibility list, locked-phone rules, and a quick self-check.

Last reviewed: July 2026. Device support and carrier policies change over time, so it is always worth confirming eSIM support on your actual phone.

Add A Love Line sits on an eSIM, so your phone needs two things. It must support eSIM, and it must be able to keep two lines active at the same time. If both are true, you can keep your current line and add a Love Mobile line on the same phone.

The two-part rule

Your phone qualifies only if both of these are true:

  1. It supports eSIM. That is where your Love Mobile line lives.

  2. It can run two lines active at once, sometimes listed as Dual SIM.

Having eSIM is not enough on its own. Some phones have eSIM but only let one line be active at a time. Those do not qualify. If you are unsure, use the self-check below.

Supported phones

This list covers common current and recent models. If your phone is not listed, use the self-check rather than assuming it will not work.

Apple iPhone

  • iPhone XR, XS, XS Max: physical SIM plus Love eSIM

  • iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max: physical SIM plus Love eSIM

  • iPhone SE (2nd gen, 2020): physical SIM plus Love eSIM

  • iPhone 12 and 13, all models: physical SIM plus eSIM, or dual eSIM

  • iPhone SE (3rd gen, 2022): physical SIM plus Love eSIM

  • iPhone 14, 15, 16, 16e, 17 (US models): dual eSIM, both lines on eSIM

Samsung Galaxy

  • Galaxy S20 through S25: physical SIM plus Love eSIM

  • Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold, all models: physical SIM plus Love eSIM

  • Galaxy Note 20 series: physical SIM plus Love eSIM

  • Galaxy A54 and select A series: physical SIM plus Love eSIM

Google Pixel

  • Pixel 3 and 3 XL through Pixel 6 series: physical SIM plus Love eSIM

  • Pixel 7, 8, and 9 series: physical SIM plus Love eSIM

  • Pixel 10 (US): dual eSIM, both lines on eSIM

Motorola and other Android

  • Motorola Razr (2023 and later): physical SIM plus Love eSIM

  • Motorola Edge (2022 and later): physical SIM plus Love eSIM

  • Other Android phones with eSIM and dual-line support: use the self-check below

A note on newer iPhones and Pixels: iPhone 14 and later sold in the US, and Google Pixel 10 in the US, have no physical SIM tray. They are eSIM only. On those phones both lines are eSIM, so you keep your current carrier on one eSIM and Love Mobile activates on a second eSIM.

If your phone is locked to a carrier

A phone that is locked to a carrier can still carry a Love Line, on the matching Love network. Your phone still needs to be eSIM capable and able to run two active lines.

To use a different Love network, your phone needs to be unlocked first. A locked phone generally will not accept a line from a different network until your original carrier unlocks it. Once unlocked, any of the three Love networks can be used.

Self-check: does my phone qualify?

Your phone works with Add A Love Line if all of these are true:

  • It supports eSIM. On iPhone, open Settings, then Cellular or Mobile Service, and look for the option to add an eSIM. On Android, open Settings, then Network and internet or Connections, and look for SIM manager or Add eSIM.

  • It can keep two lines active at the same time. Look for Dual SIM, or the ability to have two numbers turned on at once, in those same SIM settings.

  • It is unlocked, or it is locked to the carrier that matches the Love network you want.

A few things to know

Both lines active does not always mean both on 5G. On some phones, when two lines are active, one may use 5G and the other may run on 4G LTE. Calls and texts still work normally on both. You can usually choose which line gets 5G in your phone's SIM settings.

Some phones have eSIM but only one active line. That phone can run Love Mobile on its own, but it cannot keep another carrier active alongside it, so it will not work for Add A Love Line.

When in doubt, check the phone itself. Device models and carrier rules change, so the self-check on your actual phone is the most reliable test.
